Basic source of life for mankind, water has become a rare and precious resource in modern society as well as in the developing nations of the world. To satisfy the demand for safe water that expanding modern societies have created, a highly developed system of treatment, pumping, and conveyance is required.

It is in this view that Fontaine, as leader in the field of water technologies, works tirelessly to professionally support various environmental actors who specialize in the treatment of drinking water, industrial effluents and wastewater.

The Fontaine company structure has three levels. Fontaine-Alliance Inc. is the parent company and assumes overall management responsibility. H. Fontaine Ltée. is in charge of design and manufacturing, while Corporation Fontaine International is responsible for sales and distribution activities, including those of its subsidiaries.

The headquarters and the three production plants are established in Magog (Quebec, Canada). Overall, Fontaine has more than one hundred eighty highly specialized employees who work in the design, manufacture and distribution of sluice gates and water control equipment for municipal and industrial sectors.
