Weir Gates - Series 40

The Fontaine SERIES 40 Downward Opening Weir Gate is used for flow control in various applications where water flows over the slide. The sealing system using UHMWPE is the same as for the SERIES 20 Sluice Gate.

The SERIES 40 gate is made of stainless steel and has very high corrosion and erosion resistance, allowing for many years of operation with minimum maintenance. Stainless steel construction also allows the weir to be made in many shapes, to measure flow precisely.
 
The Fontaine SERIES 40 Gate features a flange back and a reinforced slide. This means it is solidly built in one piece and easy to handle and install.

All Fontaine SERIES 40 Gates are tested for operation prior to shipment.
